The Forest Nook is a quiet sanctuary tucked in the trees of Lakeside, Montana — a space designed for nervous system care, gentle movement, and soul-rooted rituals. With soft lighting, natural textures, and intimate class sizes, this cozy studio invites you to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect.
Whether you're here for yoga, breathwork, or community events, The Forest Nook holds space for your whole self — just as you are.
How many people are in each class?
Our classes are intentionally small, with a maximum of 8 students, to ensure personal attention and preserve the peaceful nature of our space. Early booking is required.
Where should I park?
Please park only in the designated spots marked with stakes. If you’re unsure, just ask when you arrive.
Is there a restroom on-site?
Yes — the bathroom is located inside the main house, just a few steps from the studio. We recommend arriving a few minutes early if you’d like to use it before class.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. We also recommend bringing water and a light layer for savasana or cooler weather.
Where is the studio located?
We are located at 105 Angel Point Road in Lakeside. Our address will also be sent out with each class registration.
Do I need to bring my own mat or props?
You’re welcome to bring your own, but we have mats, bolsters, blocks, straps, and blankets available for you to use.
Are you open year-round?
The Forest Nook is a seasonal studio open March 1st through December 22nd (subject to change depending on harsh weather). During the colder months, we take a restorative winter pause — a chance to slow down, reflect, and align with nature’s rhythm.
We’ll reopen in the spring with cozy classes, soulful events, and fresh forest magic. Stay connected through our newsletter and Instagram for updates on seasonal offerings and our reopening date!
What is your no-show, booking, and cancellation policy?
Due to our intentionally small class sizes, online booking is required prior to attending class. Walk-ins are not available at this time.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund or credit.
No-shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of the class start time are non-refundable and non-transferable.
This policy helps us honor the space, your fellow students, and the care that goes into preparing for each session. We understand emergencies happen and appreciate being informed within 24 hours if you can't attend. Thank you for understanding and for supporting a mindful booking process.
Do your class packages ever expire?
Nope! Because The Forest Nook is a seasonal studio (open March through December), class packages never expire.
We want you to enjoy your classes at your own pace, year to year, without the pressure of a deadline. Your 5 or 10-class pass will be waiting for you when the forest calls you back.
